Propecia, or Finasteride, is a prescription medication taken in pill form that works to reduce dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a byproduct of testosterone and a common cause of hair loss. Propecia is effective, but your results will not be nearly as noticeable as those with who have had hair transplant surgery.

What Is Hair Transplant Surgery in Oakland?

Hair transplant surgery offers the most obvious and immediate results. Hair is removed from an area on your head where it is abundant, called a donor site, and replaced in the areas where you are experiencing hair loss.
